I am the Student Pastor at Indian Springs Baptist Church.  It’s been a fun journey up to this point.  I graduated from Liberty University with a Bachelors in Biblical Studies.  The summer of my graduation, I was offered a position at a church in Ohio and spent two years there.  In March of 2007, communications started to take place with Indian Springs Baptist Church, which is where I eventually landed.

I’ve been in full-time youth ministry since 2005, and don’t ever care to leave it!  I’m passionate about youth ministry – it’s all about connecting students to Jesus!

My wife and I are called to youth ministry.  Ever since the early days when we were dating, we knew that God had called us individually to serve middle and high school students.

We have a strong desire to aid students to realize their potential in God’s Kingdom.  A lot of people have given up on the younger generations, claiming that they’ve all given up on God.

I beg to differ.

I’ve personally seen God working in our teenagers’ lives in bigger ways than I’ve ever seen before!  So it’s with that battle cry that we move forward, in the battle for our students’ hearts!

Whatever it takes to get them connected to Jesus is worth it.  Whatever the cost, our teenagers deserve a shot at a vibrant relationship with Jesus.

That’s kind of what this blog is about.  It’s about God’s pursuit of His people, and how we can become instruments of His love.  There are lots of methods that will be used, in many different ways, but the call is clear.  To do battle for the hearts of the next generation.
